Bono Regional Command Organises Vocational Training Workshop for Banda Kairos Ladies Home

The Counselling, Referral and Social Reintegration Unit of the Bono Regional Command organised a vocational training workshop for the Banda Kairos Ladies Home in the Banda District on Friday, 25 September 2026.
The training which was focused on building the capacity of the participants and enabling them to become independent in their respective endeavours.

The participants were taken through liquid soap and bead making, where they were equipped with the required skills to help them make a livelihood for themselves.

The team lead and Head of Demand Reduction Unit, NCO Esther Asiome, indicated that the initiative was aimed at establishing a close working relationship between Kairos Ladies Home and the Bono Regional Command in addressing some challenging issues of drug addiction.

The partnership was also targeted at offering counselling and other anti-narcotic-related services to the clients at the facility
The managers of the facility expressed their appreciation to the Commission for such an initiative and pledged their support and collaboration with the Bono Regional Command of Narcotics Control Commission ahead of future engagements.
